We are partnering with Deerfoot Outlet Mall, Sunridge, the Salvation Army and Souther Messenger to bring joy to those less fortunate this Christmas. Go to any of these malls, visit the gift wrap centre and pick a tag off the tree. The tag will have the name and age of a child in need of your help. Purchase a gift , and bring it back unwrapped and place it under the tree. Souther Messenger will make sure it makes it to the child in need in time for Christmas. We will be broadcasting live from the malls throughout the holiday season so drop by and say hi! Last year your donations helped us hand out 6663 toys to needy children..let's make this year even better!

The CIBC Run for the Cure was on Sunday, September 30 at Southcentre Mall. We'd like to thank everybody who came out and supported this amazing cause, and our 8th Signature Event, in our 25th Anniversary. Please join us next year for the 17th annual Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure.
#11 - Country 105 Cares for Kids Radiothon
November 7th - 9th, 2007
On November 7th to the 9th, Country 105 we broadcasted live from the Alberta Children's Hospital. From 6AM to 7PM everyday, our announcers were inviting listeners to become Miracle Makers, while sharing stories with kids, families and the ACH staff. For three days, our listeners joined us to hear stories of healing, miracles, pane and loss, but above all hope and inspiration. The best part - 100% of the funds we raised went directly to the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation. We are committed to the Radiothon because Country 105 is committed to the kids in our community! This year we raised an amazing $1.6 Million!!!! We thank you Calgary!
